Web Chat
Web Chat without browser runtime keys
Web Chat uses the Console session and server-side short-lived credentials over the same gateway, billing, and SSE resume layer.
Nodex Web Chat is a first-party browser chat interface that uses the Console session and server-side short-lived runtime credentials against the same Gateway.
Browser key boundary
The browser does not store or send long-lived runtime API keys.
Traceable sessions
Conversations, requests, SSE summaries, and billing metadata are recorded through the same backend.
SSE resume
Streaming requests can resume after disconnects using Last-Event-ID and session metadata.
Frequently asked questions
Does Web Chat use the same Gateway as API requests?
Yes. Web Chat calls the same Gateway through server-side short-lived credentials, so it shares routing, billing, and session records.
Does Web Chat export plaintext history?
Not by default. Self-service export includes metadata and encrypted body references; plaintext viewing requires an approved workflow.
